I am a doctoral candidate in Warawara - the Department of Indigenous Studies at Macquarie University. My interdisciplinary research is on Australian Aboriginal Astronomy and spans the disciplines of astrophysics, archaeology, cultural anthropology, geography, and history. I am working with astrophysicist Ray Norris (ATNF), anthropologist Kristina Everett (Warawara), and retired archaeologist John Clegg (Sydney U.).
My research interests are in archaeoastronomy & ethnoastronomy, observational astronomy, extrasolar planets, and meteoritics & impact cratering. My masters thesis dealt with an observational search for transiting extrasolar planets, using telescopes at Siding Spring Observatory in NSW, Australia.
I work as a Night Astronomy Educator at Sydney Observatory, serve as the Higher Degree Research Representative for Warawara, and am President of the Macquarie Skeptics Society.
